Duties of the Management Unit :

Making plans and policies, supervision, assessing and controlling the activities, making decisions, and guiding the related activities are among the duties of this unit. Khorassan Razavi Schools Renovation, Expansion, and Equipment General Department is now presided by Eng. Seyed Hedayatollah Hashemi Nasab,

holding Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering and Master's Degree in Management. He served as technical deputy from 1992 to 2002 and has served as director general since 2002.

Security Section :

The duties of this unit include safeguarding the high values of the Islamic system, implementation of an appropriate procedure for guarding and safekeeping the installations, equipment, documents, and personnel information, receiving the confidential documents and papers sent by the Ministry, and control the security issues of places, premises, and facilities of the general department.

Public Relations and Objections Processing Unit :

Coordination with mass media, esp. TV, for reflecting the news, receiving objections and recommendations, design and preparation of posters and placards, establishing relations with the people, reinforcing participation, prepare and hold special ceremonies on various occasions during the year are some of the activities and duties of the Public Relations Unit. The Objections Processing Section is also headquartered in the same unit and serves the clients according to its defined duties.

Public Participation Unit :

Making medium and long term plans in order to reinforce and continue public participations and contributions in the field of making schools, planning and presenting effective strategies for encouraging public participation, and participating in holding ceremonies for commencement or opening of public-supported projects, and maintaining continuous relations with the benevolent people are among the major duties of this unit.

Contracts, Credits, and Legal Affairs Unit :

Informing others of the communicated instructions and strategies, studying and analyzing the regulations, rules, and bylaws, controlling the list of qualified contractors based on the criteria provided by the Plan and Budget Organization, participate in the tender commissions, supervising and controlling the operational processes, selecting the contractors given their grades, and so on are some of the duties of this unit. Studying the new methods of collecting information for use in preparation of statistical plans, supervising extraction and classification of collection information in form of defined  diagrams and forms, drafting the statistical set while preparing monthly reports, prepare draft agreement for current and development affairs, exchanging the agreements and handling the affairs related to warnings and notices, termination of contracts, and removing the contractors are among other activities of this unit. Preparing drafted bills and judicial declarations, as well as answering the inquiries related to claims and legal affairs are some of the major duties of the Legal Affairs Section.

Administrative and Financial Affairs Department :

Coordinating the affairs with the director general and other deputies in promoting the strategies and executive policies, supervising and controlling the affairs in order to ensure good performance and observance of the regulations, studying the employment needs, supervising good performance of general estimate rules and regulations, issue directives for payment of financial documents are some of the duties of this department.

Technical Department :

Having continuous supervision on the activities of the Technical Bureau, coordinating the affairs in the subsections of architecture, structures, surveying, quantitative estimates, soil mechanics lab, studying the technical issues of construction systems, participating in preparation and drafting of plans required for research and studies, final control of drawings/maps sent from the Technical Bureau, etc. are among the duties and activities of this department.
